GHC Crane Cable Trolley Overview
The GHC Crane cable trolley acts as an active power supply system for crane trolleys. It consists of wheels, brackets, and support plates that securely hold soft cables in place. By synchronizing the traction frame with the cable trolley, it effectively delivers power to the crane.
Features and Types
To ensure versatility, the GHC Crane cable trolley series offers light, medium, and heavy-duty types. In addition, the trolleys come with walking wheels in three diameters: Φ80, Φ63, and Φ50. The load capacity varies, ranging from less than 50 kg to 150 kg. Moreover, each type is available in different configurations based on the number of support plate layers: single-layer, double-layer, or triple-layer.
Configurations and Models
These trolleys are available in three main configurations: The leading trolley serves as the cable traction car, the terminal unit functions as a fixed suspension bracket, and the intermediate units operate as cable trolleys. Notably, the series includes five models: I, II, III, IV, and V.
Customization
For users requiring specific I-beams, such as sizes 12#, 14#, 16#, or larger, customization options are available during the ordering process.

Crane Cable Trolley Installation Instructions
- Install the Fixed Suspension Bracket: Begin by installing the fixed suspension bracket. Afterward, weld an iron stopper at the rear for added security, ensuring the bracket remains firmly in place.
- Adjust the Traction Head: Next, adjust the traction head to prevent the trolley from hitting the edges of the traction hole during operation. This adjustment ensures smooth movement and avoids potential damage.
- Ensure Proper Cable Length: Ensure the cable length is 1.2 times the crane span plus 8 meters. This length is essential for safe and efficient operation.
- Modify Traction Steel Wire Length: Adjust the traction steel wire length so that it is shorter than the cable sections. This allows the steel wire to bear the operational load, preventing undue strain on the cables.
- Handle Varying Cable Diameters: When dealing with varying cable diameters, place soft rubber pads between cable clamps. This step ensures uniform outer diameters, which guarantees a secure and tight fit.
- Distribute Cable Load Evenly: Distribute the cable load evenly on both sides of the support plates to maintain balanced stress and prevent potential damage or wear.
- Balance Load in Multi-Layer Trolleys: When using two-layer or three-layer cable trolleys, apply the same balance principles. This ensures that the load is evenly distributed, promoting stability during operation.
- Adjust with Double Washers: Use the double washers on the trolley assembly as adjustment spacers. If the track width is unsuitable, place the washers inside the fixed plates to align the track gauge properly.
