Electric Hydraulic Disc Brake
The YP1, YP2, and YP3 series Electro hydraulic disc brake are high-performance, multifunctional, and advanced products. These brakes are designed with several features, including automatic equalization of pad retraction distance and automatic compensation for pad wear. As a result, they ensure convenient maintenance during use. Furthermore, users can install various limit switches, which provide essential interlock protection signals to the main PLC. For this reason, these brakes are ideal for deceleration and parking (holding) functions in a wide range of modern, large-scale equipment. Such equipment includes specialized handling machinery, lifting and transport machinery, metallurgical equipment, mining machinery, and engineering machinery.
Main Features of Electro Hydraulic Disc Brake
- To ensure consistent performance, the brakes are equipped with an interlocking retraction equalization device and an automatic pad positioning system. These devices maintain equal retraction distances on both sides of the brake without requiring manual adjustments. Consequently, they completely prevent pad contact with the brake disc, improving safety and performance.
- In addition, all main pivot points incorporate self-lubricating bearings. This eliminates the need for additional lubrication, making these brakes efficient, responsive, and capable of applying brakes in just 0.25–0.4 seconds.
- Moreover, the brakes feature a stepless automatic pad wear compensation mechanism. This system ensures a consistent retraction distance and braking torque, thus eliminating the need for frequent adjustments.
- The internal spring torque is adjustable, and it comes equipped with a torque scale for precise measurements. Additionally, the insert-type brake pads allow for easy replacement and are available in various materials, including semi-metallic, powder metallurgy, and other options, to suit different operating conditions.
- The brake system also pairs with a newly designed, highly responsive, and durable actuator, which enhances its overall performance.
- For safety and reliability, the system includes a manual release device, which allows users to release the brake in the event of a power outage.
Operating Conditions of Electro Hydraulic Disc Brake
- Ambient Temperature: The brake operates efficiently within a temperature range of -20°C to +50°C.
- Relative Humidity: It functions optimally when the relative humidity is ≤90%.
Optional Accessories
Several optional accessories are available to further enhance the brake’s functionality:
- Manual Release Device: This device enables the manual release of the brake when necessary.
- Release (Brake Opening) Limit Switch: This switch indicates whether the brake has been released correctly or provides interlock protection.
- Pad Wear Limit Switch: This switch signals when the brake pads reach their wear limit, offering interlock protection as well.
